What the chapter is about
This lesson asks what makes a true leader. A leader of men is not the loudest person or the one who orders others about. He wins trust by example, courage and care for his people, and others follow him willingly.
Real leadership is service, not power. A good leader listens, shares hardship, and puts the group's good before his own comfort. Students too can lead — in class, in games, in family — by being honest, brave and helpful.
What you should learn
A true leader is followed willingly because he serves, inspires and sets an example.
